Bert R. Carney, 72, of De Soto died July 29, 2016, at his home. He loved his cats, music and creating things and would share his passions with anyone willing to listen. Born Feb. 13, 1944, in Kansas City, Kan.
He is survived by his wife: Carol Carney of De Soto; one son: Justin (Darcie); and one granddaughter: Molly of St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, at Fieser Funeral Home, 401 Gravois Road, Fenton. Arrangements are under the direction of Fieser Funeral Home.
