The Highway Patrol closed I-70 after a tractor trailer fire was reported at the 177-mile marker, according to the Highway Patrol.

The fire has been extinguished and a tow truck is on the way to remove the vehicle, according to the post.

Missouri Department of Transportation traffic cameras show traffic being diverted off I-70 at Exit 179, which is at High Hill.

Traffic is backing up. The impact was reported at 11:17 a.m., and the closure was estimated to last up to two hours at the time, according to the MoDOT Traveler Information Map.
