Authorities report that an older man and woman were found dead in a House Springs mobile home Monday afternoon (May 30), but did not release their names as of this morning (May 31).
Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said his office also was not releasing the ages of the two deceased people or any other identifying information because not all family members had been contacted.
“We responded to a call at 3:31 p.m. to a mobile home in the 4900 block of Darren Drive,” he said. “A neighbor checked on them after not seeing them in a while and called it in.”
He said the cause of death had not yet been determined, but the Sheriff’s Office is to meet with the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s Office later today to receive a report.
Higginbotham said the initial investigation did not indicate foul play.
