A 20-year-old Arnold man was arrested for alleged possession of marijuana after he was pulled over for speeding, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman says.

At 12:16 a.m. April 12, an officer allegedly spotted the man speeding at Old Lemay Ferry Road and Blossom Lane and pulled him over, Arnold Police report.

The man was found with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the report said.

In addition, the man was wanted in St. Louis County on an outstanding warrant for assault and property damage, Ruckman said.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 26-year-old Arnold man, was arrested for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, the report said.

The two men were booked, issued summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court, and then the 20-year-old was held for St. Louis County authorities, and the other man was released, Ruckman said.
