Jeffrey M. Mullins, 28, of St. Louis was hurt late Sunday afternoon (July 24) in a two-car accident at Miller Road and Northern Lights Drive in the Arnold area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 4:43 p.m., Brittany C. Politte, 20, of Arnold, who had been headed east on Northern Lights Drive in a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, was stopped at a stop sign before pulling into the path of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata headed south on Miller Road, and the front of the Sonata struck the front left side of the Cavalier, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Politte.
Mullins sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, the report said.
However, the hospital had no information about him, a spokeswoman said.
Both Politte and Mullins were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Sonata was totaled, and the Cavalier was extensively damaged, the report said.
