A box truck traveling south on I-55 in Arnold this morning (May 7) crashed near the Arnold Dog Park off Ozark Drive, the Rock Community Fire Protection District reported.
No one was injured in the crash, Rock Fire spokesman Ron Harder said.
Harder said he did not know why the truck driver lost control and ran off the left side of the interstate, just south of Church Road, and he did not exactly when the accident occurred.
He said one side of the truck was ripped open, and furniture and boxes spilled out onto the side of the road before the truck came to rest in a ditch.
Harder said a Rock Fire truck remained at the scene for about an hour to make sure no oil or gas spilled from the truck and to assist in the cleanup.
